Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was recently in India for MAMI Film Festival, is in the news over her real estate properties.
The actress recently sold two of her luxury Mumbai apartments Mumbai to filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey.
According to a report in Money Control, Priyanka Chopra has sold two apartments – located at the Lokhandwala Complex in Oshiwara, Andheri in Mumbai – and the buyer is director, screenwriter and producer Abhishek Chaubey for Rs 6 CRORES!
As per the documents, the first penthouse was sold for Rs 2.25 crores. Located on the higher floor, it was spread across 860 sq ft. On the other hand, the second penthouse – measuring 1,432 sq ft – was sold for Rs 3.75 crores.
The Sonchiriya director has reportedly paid a stamp duty of around Rs 36 lakhs for both transactions. The flats were registered on October 23rd and 25th respectively.
In August, PeeCee had stepped down from her association with Sona – an Indian restaurant which was opened in 2021 while Covid-19 restrictions were still in place. The restaurant is now being managed by the co-founder Maneesh K. Goyal.

On the work front, Priyanka was last seen in the Prime Video series, Citadel. She will next star in Ending Things with Anthony Mackie and Ilya Naishuller’s Heads of State along with Idris Elba and John Cena.
She also has Farhan Akhtar’s all-female road trip movie Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in her kitty.
However, several reports claim that she has walked out of the highly-anticipated film as she didn’t like the script. Earlier, during an interview, Farhan had told Variety, PC’s dates are in a huge ‘tizzy’.
