Headlined by Vicky Kaushal, the film is based on the life of the veteran army man Sam Manekshaw.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Sam Bahadur depicts the 4-decade-long illustrious military career of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
While Vicky Kaushal has stepped into the shoes of the late army hero, Sanya Malhotra plays the role of Manekshaw’s wife Silloo and Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen as the former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

According to Sacnilk, Vicky’s film has already crossed Rs 2.05 crores gross in advance ticket sales across all theatres in India. As per the details shared by the portal, the total number of ticket sold for the opening day stands at 66418 so far.
Reportedly, the movie will be shown on over 3,000 screens.

The Vicky Kaushal starrer is all set to clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the gangster drama also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri and Shakti Kapoor.
