According to sources, Priyanka Chopra is set to earn an unprecedented ₹30 crore for her role as the female lead in S.S. Rajamouli’s upcoming jungle adventure film.
The film also stars Mahesh Babu—making it the highest fee ever paid to a female actor in Hindi cinema.
After months of negotiations between both teams, this fee was settled upon, reportedly lower than what Mrs. Jonas had initially requested.
A source said, “This is why they took so long to announce her participation in the project. She was not willing to budge over her fee, and why should she? Why should only the men actors get double-digit salaries in our films?“

With Rajamouli’s upcoming jungle adventure, Priyanka Chopra cements her position as the highest-paid Indian actress of all time.

As for the film itself, the action-packed adventure will see Mahesh Babu take on the role of a desi Rambo, navigating through dense jungles. The movie is expected to be filmed in both Thailand and India.
