Dunki Drop 5: O Maahi Song was released today, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu. Composed by Pritam, the track has lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil and it has been sung soulfully by Arijit Singh.

O Maahi is a song of unconditional, long-lasting, selfless love… The kind that will touch the depths of your heart! Manu and Hardy only have eyes for one another as their hearts get intertwined. The song portrays SRK and Taapsee’s journey overcoming challenges imposed by borders between two countries, showcasing their determination to survive together. The duo are in the desert, trying to cross the border illegally.
Dunki marks Shah Rukh Khan‘s first collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani. The movie promises to be a rollercoaster ride filled with emotions, love, friendship, drama and nostalgia. It also stars Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover. The film is backed by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films.

Budget?
As per reports, this is SRK’s cheapest film in the last 6 years! Dunki has been made on a budget of Rs 85 CRORES! However, it doesn’t include the fees taken by its star cast.
The film’s budget, including the print and publicity and except the fees of producers SRK & Hirani, is said to be around Rs 120 CRORES, making it the lowest-budget film of Khan in the last 6 years.
Reportedly, Shah Rukh and Rajkumar have a share in the profits. Hirani shot the film in just 75 days, out of which SRK shot for the film for 60 days.
SRK’s Dunki will have a box office clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar. Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is scheduled to hit theatres on 22nd December.
