As per Sacnilk report, Dunki has sold 4.8 lakh (4,84,003) tickets for its 1st day advance booking. Dunki 1st Day Advance Booking Gross amounts to over a 13.46 Crore collection!
The Rajkumar Hirani film is produced by Jio Studios, Rajkumar Hirani Films, and Red Chillies Entertainment. It’s finally going to be In cinemas on 21st December 2023! It will have a box office clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar.

Dunki has been made on a budget of Rs 85 CRORES! The film’s budget, including the print and publicity and except the fees of producers SRK & Hirani, is said to be around Rs 120 CRORES, making it the lowest-budget film of Khan in the last 6 years. Reportedly, Shah Rukh and Rajkumar have a share in the profits.
Hirani shot the film in just 75 days, out of which SRK shot for the film for 60 days.The digital rights of Dunki have been sold to JioCinema for Rs 155 CRORES!
Controversy Over Screen Count – Dunki Vs Salaar
Though a consensus was reached that both films would take 50-50 screening rights, the deal is allegedly not being followed. Dunki is getting more screens than Salaar in the North.
In response, Hombale Productions withdrew the release of Salaar from PVR Inox and Miraj cinemas in the Southern states over alleged unfair trade of screenings of Dunki.
“Team Salaar has decided not to screen their film at these theatre chains across south unless fair distribution practices are made in the north. They have decided to not back down and have no other option at this point of time,” a source said.
